This is a book I've been waiting for many years. A book for all Christians, all true believers discover the real spiritual teaching to build. The writer uses the teaching of the Apostle Paul, who runs mostly "new vision" which is definitely beneficial in two main ways, increased education of the faith and strengthen faith. This is a real thing all believers seek to bring us closer to spirit. A book for people of faith and not about to take the decision to make. I'd recommend a spiritual book, SB 1 or God by Karl Maddox.
Sometimes I compare what passes for Christianity today as a process to manage the religious equivalent of a vaccine – to enter a softened shadow of Christianity, which has the effect of making the recipient's immune system to the real thing, if ever ven. Although I guess this is not just a modern day phenomenon – as CS Lewis pointed out long ago, why so few do not, because Christianity is little evidence. I have my ideas about why it is, but more on that in a moment. First, the book. This is a great book. It gives an overview of what I call the "how and why" the day of the Christian life. So many people seem to think so much of what is discussed here is not important and / or optional – prayer, worship, fellowship, religious studies and so on, for some reason, often seen as appendages Nino Christian life . The book takes each of these – and other – issues and explains why they are essential for daily life of Christians and must be performed / observed and chased. The church has lasted over 2000 years, largely because of these actions have been developed as a means to communicate, enrich and protect the faith and its followers. Roberts does an admirable job of explaining the roots of these activities, its history and its importance for the Church in general and for the individual. I especially like the subtitle of this book – authentic experience of Christian life. I think there are two factors that undermine the Christian faith in general in recent days. One of them is the superficiality of Christianity as derived marketing in contrast with Christianity as a religion. Success seems in any case, too many to rely solely on the number of bodies that pass through the door. Entertainment and marketing as well replace the faith and evangelism. The other is Christianity and politics. The radical right and the left seem to have decided that the pulpit of the church is primarily a political pulpit. This book works because it focuses on Christianity as a faith – not a fun or political support. This is not get right with the karma or the right to a political agenda – you are doing well with God, with a series of actions to facilitate and enhance such activities. If you're worried about your lifetime, go to a mega church and part of the softball team. If you are concerned about their spiritual and eternal life, read this book.
