"Reinventing the Church: Search sleep Organic Christianity by Frank Viola, is sure to send all the clerics" lay "member of digging for a biblical defense for the claims made in connection with the 1700 so the old institutional Church. And according to Viola, will not find one iota "of the biblical mandate" to support its existence.
Finally, the sequel to the highly controversial book, "Pagan Christianity?: Exploring the roots of our church practice," has arrived! It is true that not everyone applauded his arrival in bookstores. No doubt many readers are still trying to deal with the favorable recognition and popularity of the first book in this series of 4 books (they are not yet 2) the biological Christianity. The first time, with the aid Viola George Barna and Tyndale to get a few ears to listen. Now that you have the attention of many readers. . . He pointed to propose serious answers to a public that is full of sincere questions. E "Reimgaining Church" will leave readers unsatisfied in their quest for a normal life of the Christian church. In fact, leave them hungry for authenticity in the fashion of the New Testament.
As the saying goes, "You can not judge a book by its cover." Many readers have learned that from the PC. So the first reader to understand the title. Viola says, "is the current practice of the church that I'm trying to re-imagine, is not the Church itself" (p. 13). It clearly describes its purpose so that no misunderstandings. He writes that the book's purpose is "to articulate a biblical response to the spiritual, theological and practical demand, there is a valid way to gain experience outside the church, the institutional church, and if so, how are you" , (p. 12)?
There should be no mistake, any serious reader can not accuse Viola by impure motives or build the house of God in the sand. In fact, the basis of the ideas communicated in this book are based on the Triune God (Trinity is the archetype of the church). Therefore, RC has to be understood as a proposal that the Church of Jesus Christ, the mirror image of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Viola writes: "The Church is the earthly image of the triune God" (p. 35). In the spirit of Stanley Grenz, Leonardo Boff, and Miroslav Volf. . . Viola has beautifully woven with God's eternal plan in a clear, concise and intelligent. His inspiration can be questioned, like any author, but his scholarship is unsurpassed in its presentation. This is a job for the carpenter and the scholar.
"The Reform recover the truth of the priesthood of all believers. But he could not recover organic practices that incorporate this teaching. E 'was limited to soteriology (salvation) and not involving the ecclesiology (the church) "(p. 59). In search of a staff that Christianity is rooted in the Triune God, the greatest obstacle will be located in the heart of the institutional model of the hierarchy of church leadership. Viola and does everything it can to address the mistake we made in our doctrine and practice of authority and spiritual covering. " It also extends his speech in Appendix "objections and answers about the leadership."
In each section, Viola seems to anticipate the objections and criticisms. . . and very skillfully, with ease, the answers to these objections and the many misunderstandings that arise out of a first reading of the ideas presented on the PC and RC. I read all the writings of Viola as its original series. . . and RC in this new series is the most beautiful presentation so far. Little is left to stumble in their language. . . only one great truth to bear.
Readers will appreciate the honesty of Viola and sensitivity to problems. Each chapter is based on guidance from others to finish. I found that when a problem occurs, quickly led to satisfy a deeply rooted desire to know and follow the truth. Although not necessary that the reader has read PC. . . Is recommended. And "better start listening to a conversation from the beginning.
Finally, I would tell the reader that only those who are interested in the spiritual revolution instead of religious reform, will be eligible for RC. We must be willing to abandon all new methods of restoring the institutions and leave behind all the drama about the passions, programs, methods and movements. It's time for a paradigm shift! Viola writes: "The recovery of organic expression of the Church and the practice of the supreme authority of Jesus Christ requires us to abandon our patches and Band-Aids ecclesiastic" (p. 270). Only a fixed life on the centrality and supremacy of Jesus Christ and expressed wish that in the church. . . find comfort in reading this book.
A mass exodus is happening as I write this commentary. Is not it a rebellion, but of submission. Dear reader, consider a renewed Christology that gives birth to a glorious ecclesiology. Consider the message of this book. . . and let the person of Christ and the work is reflected in all compartments of life.

Three years ago, that "rest" and stopped going to church institutions. So the real deal. I youth pastor, conducted missions on four continents, and went to Bible school. Sorry, but I can not pretend anymore. I struggled, however, in knowing how to be part of the solution, so I took the book of Viola, in the hope of finding some direction.
Reinventing Church "has the bitter than I expected, but did not get more practical as I expected. What is to establish the biblical description of a church in the New Testament, the system of clergy and church policy that grew around it. It shows how Western Christianity has become a reflection of their society, basing the structure of the church in the secular business systems. I check this, after going through four years of Bible college, during which sick of hearing terminology applied to general manager of the bustling life of the church officials.
Viola does a great job of driving home their points about the purpose of the church's headquarters (in Christ alone), and its ability to operate without sinking millions of dollars in development projects, while the poor among us are fasting. I saw things that are exposed here, and not exaggerating. It also aims to highlight the mistakes of the recent ecclesial movements (mega-churches, emerging churches, etc.), highlighting the good they have proposed to do. I feel a heart of love behind the strident call back to biblical church organ through homes. They are one hundred percent with Viola.
In the study of Scripture, I came to many of the same conclusions in the bags, accountability, and the like, but some questions remained unanswered. Viola hope addresses some of these in his next book, already in the works. Although this title in particular, provides the biblical and theological foundations for the organic church, takes up very little to solve practical problems as how to deal with a brother who is taking over, or falls theological basis, or how to manage the supply and disbursement of funds to the needy, without being exploited or stolen. The list goes on.
He admits that the body of the church will be much messier than the institutional church – not, not two fashion now, or gymnastics worship, Sunday morning. Instead, the church staff will have all the vitality and chaos of a family. (With families in ruin, maybe that's why so many gravitate toward a safe, sterile most of the meetings on Sunday.)
I love the Church, that those who know and follow Jesus and are part of his girlfriend. I've seen in forty years, while the institutional church becomes bigger with the wheels, and the society around us is increasingly far from wanting nothing to do with religion, as they have been portrayed. I hope this "reinvention" is taking root in the hearts of believers everywhere, so we can see the true life rise again from the ruins of our efforts made by man.
A large following of Pagan Christianity. As I am starting a new experience of reinvention Organic Church Church has answers to some annoying questions like "How to celebrate the Lord's Supper, and is a rite?" "What about the biblical church leadership ? "and" What does "every member of the church, how does it work? . The last chapter is worth the price of the book. In it the author outlines some recent solutions to typical problems of the Church, and provides an alternative insightful and stimulating. I stayed with an appetite for more. If you are looking for the kind of church life is in the New Testament, this book will show you not only possible but is happening in our generation. Read it!
